The High Fidelity Redux

Golllllly, the length of that hiatus was more than unexpected!

First of all, my sincerest apologies to my wonderful, devoted followers who never lost faith in the resurrection of this blog! Second, I've been contemplating (loosely) the revival of HF, but I never thought I would actually succumb...Late into last night - almost out of the blue - I took one deep breath and voilà! One blog make-over and I'm back to my fashion blogging roots. Even after my year-and-a-half long break, I've always considered myself a fashion blogger. I'm incredibly remorseful of the day that I neglected this blog! But there is no room for regret, I'm here and that is that. With that said, you have my word that regular posting will resume - perhaps an outfit post (????) - would you like that? Ahhhh, so much has changed! But alas, there is no time for catching up, let's pretend like this never happened?! Cheers to new beginnings!

so...it's summer vacation for high school-goers now (: & in spirit of the warm, fun-loving FREE season, I'll get back on that outfit post wagon once again. I'm excited ! That's when I realize how little I get out and just sleep in. But this summer'll be different I hope !

Hopefully it'll consist of:
Sun sun sun (come out already), beach, Rome, Vegas, San Diego, thrift stores, hefty amounts of iced tea, cream flowy dresses, running through fields, golden girls, floppy hats, sidewalk cafes, PALM SPRINGS, rolling in hills, sleepovers, church-activities (God lover, just to let you know ! :D), all-you-can eat buffets, more iced teas, forgetting everything you've learned, minidresses, mini skirts, big umbrellas, Redondo Beach, crabs, shrimp, hang-outs, warm nights, naturale, tons of novels, cute movies, hiking trails, nature nature nature, FUN.

it's more of the way the model wears the pieces, and how the pieces are specifically styled together that attracts me, rather than the individual pieces themselves. I understand this is Allie from The City, though I don't watch the show. As a model, she's kind of ethereal, no ? Keep my eye on this one..

The setting makes me totally nostalgic for my home away from home = Palm Springs.

Maybe white (if they had it)? & to complete the Audrey Hepburn/Old Hollywood-esque glamour look that i'm totally into (or just good 'ol Karla here & here)..this too.
